TRUPLAST Company, dedicated to the production of plastics in general, seeks to satisfy one of its highest demands at the national level, improve its production, to provide customers with a quality product. Plastic utensils, such as spoons produced in cold-cast injection systems, come in ladder strips which are detached, counted, inspected and packed by hand. Due to the growth of its demand and its current system being obsolete, a quality control and packaging machine was designed and implemented for the automation of its production line of plastic spoons. The vertical type packing machine will carry out the process that contemplates a complete packaging of three seals, which consists of several sections such as the forming, sealing and shearing of the sheath, and also the product weighing system. Its electro-pneumatic system is controlled by a Panasonic PLC with a Panasonic GT02 monochromatic screen. A quality control system is implemented with which the matrices of products that are defective will be discarded. Based on artificial vision and a module that includes a camera and Raspberry Pi 3 processor to identify, process the image and make a decision to approve or discard the product. This paper aims to make a multidisciplinary approach of domestic violence, considering social, cultural, political and socioeconomic factors that encourage and increase the risk of a woman to suffer any kind of violence. Also, from a theoretical approach, there is a relationship of structural gender inequality as a cause of coercitive control to the woman and how cultural patterns play different roles between men and women, which underlie a deep inequality rarely visible, analyzed and discussed in the legal instruments and even the terminology used to refed to this problema. All this suggests the paradox of the “duality of structure”. In that sense, the case of study is the Ecuadorian, existing legislation and the corresponding evolution in this matter is reviewed, to asssess if it serves to the key factors that are studied in this work and harm the integrity of women in all possible areas. Finally, because of the limited statistical information for case analysis, some preliminary conclusions are made

Introduction: Angelman Syndrome is a rare inherited neurodevelopmental disorder that affects 1 in 10,000 to 24,000 newborns. This condition includes developmental desability, intellectual disability, severe speech disability, movement and balance problems (ataxia), seizures and very small head. People with Angelman Syndrome always seem to be in a good mood and smile a lot. Objective: to systematize knowledge about the characteristics of Angelman Syndrome, clinical and genetic aspects of the disease and current treatment strategies. Method: a bibliographic review was carried out at the Universidad Regional Autónoma de Los Andes, by searching in national and international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, SciELO, Web of Science and Google Scholar. For the investigation a search strategy was used. Forty-five articles were found, of which 15 were selected for this review. Results: a synthesized text was elaborated where aspects such as etiology, diagnosis, main clinical symptoms and treatment of this genetic disorder were addressed. Conclusions: due to its nature of clinical needs that are not met in terms of the motor area, communication, sleep and behavior, Angelman syndrome makes it necessary for nursing professionals to develop an action plan that allows an early diagnosis and develop a plan specific care for the individual and the intimate environment of action to respond to the needs on demand

This scientific article uses the PRISMA method, a systematic review tool, to examine the feasibility of including the crime of intimidation in the catalog of private action crimes. The review is based on the compilation and synthesis of bibliographic scientific studies published on the crime of bullying. The ambiguity in the content of this crime poses difficulties in the preliminary investigation stage by the Prosecutor's Office, which makes it difficult to obtain evidence. The methodology was developed to answer the question: what is understood as private crimes of criminal action, does the crime of intimidation meet the parameters to be part of its catalog? studies that pertain to crimes of public action were discarded from the inclusion. For this, the scientific databases Dialnet, Scielo, Scopus, Dspace, Lexis Finder and Google Scholar were searched, the PRISMA method (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) was applied, this method is used to carry out reviews rigorously and transparently systematic. The results obtained show the feasibility of incorporating the criminal offense of intimidation article 154 of the COIP in crimes of private action. The results demonstrated the effective possibility of expanding the content and scope of the crime of intimidation, in order to expedite the process and safeguard the evidence and protected assets of the victims.

Abstract Untreated postoperative pain prolongs the response to surgery stress and therefore has deleterious effects on cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, neuroendocrine, metabolic, renal and immune function. In addition, it increases postoperative morbidity and mortality and can cause persistent postoperative pain syndromes. The objective of this work was to evaluate the use of ketamine as postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing colon surgery admitted to the surgery service of the Morón hospital. A quasi-experimental study was carried out, in which the sample was made up of 49 patients scheduled for this type of surgery in the period from January 2016 to January 2018. They were randomly divided into two groups, where the group experiment was administered the drug. It was demonstrated that the postoperative administration of ketamine in continuous infusion reduces the intensity of postoperative pain, prolongs the time of rescue analgesia requirements, decreases the amount of supplementary analgesia and the adverse effects.   Keywords: Postoperative analgesia, ketamine, pain

Background: Education and health are crucial topics for public policies as both largely determine the future wellbeing of the society. Currently, several studies recognize that physical activity (PA) benefits brain health in children. However, most of these studies have not been carried out in developing countries or lack the transference into the education field. The Cogni-Action Project is divided into two stages, a cross-sectional study and a crossover-randomized trial. The aim of the first part is to establish the associations of PA, sedentarism, and physical fitness with brain structure and function, cognitive performance and academic achievement in Chilean schoolchildren (10–13 years-old). The aim of the second part is to determinate the acute effects of three PA protocols on neuroelectric indices during a working memory and a reading task. Methods: PA and sedentarism will be self-reported and objectively-assessed with accelerometers in a representative subsample, whilst physical fitness will be evaluated through the ALPHA fitness test battery. Brain structure and function will be assessed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in a randomized subsample. Cognitive performance will be assessed through the NeuroCognitive Performance Test, and academic achievement by school grades. In the second part 32 adolescents (12–13 year-old) will be cross-over randomized to these condition (i) “Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training” (MICT), (ii) “Cooperative High-Intensity Interval Training” (C-HIIT), and (iii) Sedentary condition. Neuroelectric indices will be measures by electroencephalogram (EEG) and eye-tracking, working memory by n-back task and reading comprehension by a reading task
